The BMW 6-Series Car – Offering a High Performance
BMW has done it again and this time via the introduction of the now infamous 6-Series model. Long in stature, this addition to the BMW range certainly garnered its fair share of attention upon its release. The marketing campaign undertaken by BMW was exquisite as it propelled this shiny black machine to be the best car around and gave the impression that it was something special. Well this was indeed the case and thanks to the 30 second TV teaser, the BMW 6-Series received many pre-orders from those wanting a piece of the new action. With a large extended bonnet, it makes for a very good looking BMW, which has obviously had its fair share of design time. Compared to the older used BMW models, the 6-Series is definitely one that stands out from the crowd and offers a little something different. Yes the design of the 6-Series is based on the used BMW 5-Series, but there is no question about it – many improvements have been made in both the looks and performance departments. Released in the year 2003, the 6-Series acted was a welcomed addition given that fact that there had not been a similar type of vehicle since the used BMW 8-Series. In terms of transmission options, the BMW 6-Series is available in both 6 speed manual and 6 speed automatic types. For a certain period of time there was also the 7 speed manual option available, but this was only available pre 2008. There are a number of highly powerful engines to choose from with the new and used BMW 6-Series so be prepared to take regular trips to the petrol station to fill up! In fact the fuel economy, although not terribly bad, is probably one of the only minor disadvantages to owning this car. Then again, if you want speed and quick acceleration mixed with a powerful performance, then you are going to need the juice that will fuel the fire.

If someone’s that worried about fuel economy, than perhaps buying a bike is a better idea. A car costs money, that is a fact.
